IFCN Young Investigator Awards The IFCN offers 10 "IFCN ExCo Awards" (worth USD 4.000) for excellent abstracts of young investigators. To be categorized as a young scientist, you need to be younger than 35 years on March 19, 2014 and need to hand in either a copy of your passport or your birth certificate when submitting your abstract. Applicants must register for ICCN2014, submit an abstract indicating that they wish to compete for one of these awards and must present their material personally at ICCN2014. Decisions will be made by the IFCN ExCo. The awardees will present their papers as platform presentations at the ICCN in Berlin. Finally, the President of IFCN and the publisher of Elsevier will present the awards during these sessions.

IFCN Travel Grants The IFCN is offering 100 travel grants (up to USD 1.000) to attend ICCN2014. The fellowship winners must register for ICCN2014, submit an abstract and present their material personally at ICCN2014. Fellows should be supported by their national IFCN member society and their names should be suggested by the national societies to the IFCN Secretariat in Vancouver by the deadline of abstract submission (October 31, 2013). Decisions are made by the IFCN ExCo. W.A. Cobb and M.A.B. Brazier Awards The two most highly ranked submissions (abstracts) will awarded the W.A. Cobb and M.A.B. Brazier Awards, which are sponsored by Elsevier and are worth USD 4.000 each. The applicant needs to mention in the astract submission form that he/she wants to apply for the Â"IFCN Young Investigator AwardÂ", needs to be the first author of the submitted abstract, has to register for the congress and needs to do the platform presentation personally. An award will be withheld if the awardee fails to comply with these conditions. The applicants must agree to submit the reported study to the journal Â"Clinical NeurophysiologyÂ" within 6 months of the Congress as an original research report or as part of a comprehensive review, acceptance for publication in the journal then being dependent on peer review. IFCN Fellowships for Delegates Delegates from economically disadvantaged countries can be supported to attend the IFCN General Assembly meeting in Berlin. The IFCN offers another 20 fellowships for delegates (up to USD 1.000) from economically disadvantaged countries (category B). Delegates have to register for ICCN2014 and must personally attend the meeting of the IFCN General Assembly. Applications should be sent to the IFCN Secretariat in Vancouver. DGKN Fellowships Each Annual Meeting the DGKN offers a reward for 20 fellowships to students of medicine, neurobiology, psychology and PJ students. Students do not need to pay registration fees for the congress. Fellowship holders will receive 300 EUR from the DGKN. The precondition for this, in addition to an active student status, is the authorship or co-authorship of a submitted abstract at the Annual Meeting. A transparent procedure for the determination of the fellowships will be guaranteed by the Congress President. Accounting will be done by the Treasurer of the DGKN.
